Watching City has nothing to do with it, honest!
Looking at Christiano "why do 1 step over when 10 are better" Ronaldo, he's going to be some player. But to be honest, referees are putting me off the game. I'm still annoyed that Middlesbrough won the League Cup with 2 goalkeepers (remember Ehiogu's fantastic left handed save in the dying minutes?) Referees need help from technology. I'm afraid City need help from a much higher source!

From now on I think football matches should be decided on who plays the best not who scores the most goals. In fact why not just get rid of the goal posts and have 90 minutes of keep-ball?

That's all bollocks. It doesn't matter if England's only two touches were to kick it in the net. The basic fact is we scored two away to Portugal's one at home. I don't care if Ronaldo did 5 million step-overs. It does not matter. We played crap. So what. We scored 2 - they scored 1. What's your point? Do you think we'll play any differently in 2 year s time?
I'm not blaming the ref for the fact that the home team had far more posession. I'm blaming him for being shit. 2-1. And he bottled it. I'm not blaming him for the way we played. But we scored 2 to their 1. WTF???

Would that offend anybody? We're talking football here. I've read plenty of F words in far less important threads. Put it back in.
Anyway, I've just had another drink and can honestly say I'm now much calmer and can't be bothered with the rest of the tournement. When will they introduce 3 more referees infront of a TV screen who can over-rule these awful decisions. I'm totally disallusioned with football and have had enough.

(1) edward rutherfurd's novel "london" - it dawned on me that generation after generation thought theirs was special in god's eyes, this novel started me thinking.

As I stated before, I've greatly benefited from my Zhan Zhuang practice, especially as my asthma has all but cleared up. What started as an exercise that I could only do for a couple of minutes has become an exercise that I enjoy for up to an hour at a time.
I'm quite intrigued by this statement Mark "There are more direct ways that can lead to awakening ". Care to tell us more?
